Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Intern to work closely with our Engineering team to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our products.
You will be involved in testing new features, identifying bugs early, and supporting smooth product releases. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to real-world engineering and product development cycles.
Duration & Stipend
- Duration: 6 months
- Stipend: 25k
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand features and requirements
- Write and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, and basic API testing
- Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA
- Reproduce issues and assist developers in debugging
- Validate fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release
- Support release cycles and sprint testing
- Maintain QA documentation and test reports
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing concepts
- Familiarity with web applications and APIs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to think from a user perspective
- Good communication skills to work with engineering teams
Good to Have
- Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium / Cypress)
- Understanding of Git, databases, or debugging tools
- Prior internship/project experience in QA or development
